Short. Specific. Actually true.

When you use AudioCrab, we receive the file (or URL) you submit, the output format you choose, your IP address, and basic request headers. That's it. No cookies for analytics on the free tier.

If you sign up for Pro or the API, we additionally store your email, a hashed password (or OAuth identifier), and billing metadata sent by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.

Submitted files are used only to perform the extraction you asked for. Metadata (file size, duration, chosen format) is used to enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and generate anonymous aggregate stats. We do not sell any of it. We do not use your files to train machine learning models.

• Submitted video files: deleted within 1 hour.
• Extracted audio files: deleted within 1 hour.
• Signed download links: expire after 30 minutes.
• Request logs (anonymized): retained for 30 days.
• Account & billing records: retained while your account is active, then archived per legal requirements.

We host our infrastructure with Vercel and Cloudflare. Payments are handled by Stripe. Transactional email is sent through Resend. All sub-processors are contractually bound to our privacy standards and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

You can request an export or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing privacy@audiocrab.com. We respond within 30 days, and usually much faster. Users in the EU, UK, California and Brazil have additional rights under GDPR, UK-GDPR, CCPA and LGPD respectively — those rights apply automatically, no matter where you're based.
